Your approach?


YOU BUILD THE FUTURE SUCCESS

In this challenging sales role, you will help build Deponti’s future success in the UK & Ireland and massively expand your region. You will work independently from a home office. Given your commercial and personal drive, you are someone who enjoys the cold acquisition approach. Your goal will be to have signed up 50 or more new dealers in your first year with the company.


In 2020 Deponti made a successful entrance into the UK market. At this moment there are over 200 selected dealers in the UK & Ireland that present Deponti products to customers in their showrooms. Deponti wants to accelerate its growth and achieve the best coverage possible in the UK & Ireland, in the shortest time frame possible, by increasing its local presence. So, after time you will be expected to spend 80% of your time on cold acquisition and 20% on taking care of existing dealers.


ONBOARDING

You will start by attending commercial and product training courses at the 4,000m² Deponti showroom / warehouse location in Rugby (West Midlands). Besides covering the technical aspects of the various products, the induction process will also be used to teach you Deponti’s tried-and-tested sales pitch. The local team consists of existing UK Regional Account Managers, Customer Service employees and Warehouse employees. The other members of the international sales team consist of thirteen area account managers, eight inside sales employees and three marketing employees, who are all based in the Netherlands. Together with the local UK-team there will be a monthly sales meeting in Rugby. Every quarter you will spend one or two days at the HQ of Deponti in the Netherlands, catching up with your other colleagues and attending international sales meetings.

From the comfort of your home office, you will gather the addresses of potential dealers in your region. Over 2,000 addresses are already identified and signed-up in the CRM system. These could be the addresses of:


timber construction businesses,

Conservatory or window frames suppliers,

the suppliers of garden furniture or timber structures,

veranda-awning suppliers,

outdoor living specialists,

landscapers,

steel construction businesses,

staircase builders,

handyman businesses and other self-employed professionals


You will use these addresses to create an efficient route and then head off to visit each company without any prior contact: this is where the cold acquisition approach comes in. Armed with your outgoing personality and Deponti’s effective sales pitch, you’ll be in the perfect position to gain interest for Deponti’s products and to enter the follow-up action to be taken in the CRM system. The aim is to warm-up potential new dealers for a showroom visit in Rugby, so you can personally show, explain, and demonstrate Deponti’s high quality and durable products to them. You will consistently carry out the follow-up actions generated until the dealer agrees to add Deponti products to its showroom. Deponti does not offer dealers exclusivity. Your field visits will enable you to gain even more information, including new addresses in your region.

What do you bring?


You will:


be energetic, a commercial self-starter and results-oriented

have 5 to 10 years’ experience in the development of a B2B dealer network and indirect sales

have a successful commercial track record in acquisition and new business development

have a bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing, economics, or business economics

have a natural ability to persuade and strong verbal communication skills

be a UK resident and entitled to work in the UK

have a full and clean UK driving license

be ideally living in the suburban area of  Scotland and North East
